The Casidra team joined farmers, businesses, government leaders and agricultural stakeholders at NAMPO Cape 2026 in Bredasdorp from 09 September to 12 September 2026.
The exhibition was an opportunity to showcase our work, strengthen relationships and engage with stakeholders about opportunities to support agricultural and rural development across the Western Cape.
Our stand welcomed a couple of high-profile visitors throughout the exhibition, which include the Western Cape Premier Alan Winde, Western Cape Minister of Agriculture, Economic Development and Tourism Dr Ivan Meyer, Western Cape Department of Agriculture HOD Dr Mogale Sebopetsa, National Minister of Rural Development and Land Reform Mzwanele Nyhontso, and Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation Dr Jack Bloom.
These engagements provided valuable opportunities to share Casidra’s work and gain more insights on agriculture, rural development, investment and the importance of collaboration across government and the agricultural sector.
Our CEO, Dr Keith du Plessis, also represented Casidra in a panel discussion, contributing to conversations around agricultural finance, investment and opportunities for growth within the sector.
But beyond the high-profile engagements, NAMPO was about the people. Our team spent four days welcoming visitors, answering questions, sharing information and building relationships. Every conversation was an opportunity to strengthen Casidra’s presence and demonstrate the value we bring as a project implementer.
A sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to making NAMPO Cape 2026 participation a success from those involved in the planning and preparation to the colleagues who represented Casidra throughout the four days.
NAMPO Cape 2026 may have come to an end, but the conversations continue. The relationships built, ideas shared and opportunities explored during the exhibition form part of our ongoing work to strengthen partnerships and contribute to meaningful agricultural development.
