New CFO for Casidra

Casidra is pleased to welcome Bronwyn Govender, who joined the organisation as Chief Financial Officer on 1 May 2026.

Bronwyn Govender is an accomplished Chartered Accountant and MBA graduate, bringing more than 21 years of leadership experience in public sector financial management, governance, and institutional reform. She has strong technical expertise in GRAP and IFRS reporting, along with extensive experience working within PFMA, MFMA, and National Treasury regulatory frameworks.

Throughout her career, Bronwyn has led major financial management and governance projects, overseen multi-million-rand budgets, and driven sustained improvements in audit outcomes across municipalities and public entities. She played a key role in the implementation of Municipal Standard Chart of Accounts (MSCOA) in KwaZulu-Natal, providing strategic oversight on system integration, budget alignment, and financial reporting reforms to strengthen compliance and transparency.

Her professional journey includes senior leadership roles at Think 99 Investments, KPMG, and Dube TradePort, where she contributed to advancing audit readiness, financial systems transformation, and supply chain governance.
