
Casidra Strengthens Agricultural Partnerships at Inaugural South Africa–Italy Agriculture Business Forum
On 09 June 2026, Casidra joined agricultural leaders, policymakers and industry stakeholders at the inaugural South Africa–Italy Agriculture Business Forum, held in Cape Town.
Hosted by South Africa’s Minister of Agriculture, Honourable John Steenhuisen, and Italy’s Minister of Agriculture, Francesco Lollobrigida, the forum marked a significant step towards strengthening bilateral cooperation in agriculture and agri-business development.
Held under the theme, “South Africa and Italy Building Resilient, Value-Added Agri-Business Partnerships: From the Soil to the Shelf,” the event brought together representatives from government, industry, research institutions and development organisations to explore opportunities for collaboration, innovation and sustainable growth across the agricultural value chain.
Casidra’s participation highlighted its commitment to supporting initiatives that contribute to agricultural advancement, rural development and inclusive economic growth. The event also offered an opportunity to strengthen strategic partnerships that can help unlock new opportunities for farmers, agri-businesses and rural communities.
