Progress Update: State-of-the-Art Construction for the Lesley Morrison Project

Casidra is making significant progress on the construction of two new chicken houses, an upgraded access road, and 600 metres of fencing for Lesley Morrison’s white-meat production enterprise in Hopefield, located in the West Coast region.

The project commenced on 1 October 2025 and is scheduled for completion on 2 February 2026, spanning a four-month period with a contract value of R2, 5 million.

According to Casidra Project Managers John de Wee and Andre Otto, construction is advancing smoothly and remains on schedule.

“By constructing these two chicken houses, we’re helping the beneficiary establish a solid foundation for growth, efficiency, and long-term profitability. Our goal is to ensure that this poultry operation thrives for years to come,” said De Wee.
