Her broad industry expertise led her to establish herself as a consultant, where she applied her knowledge across multiple facets of the fresh produce value chain. Prior to joining Mafube Fresh, a leading supplier of fresh fruit, Ms Malashe held senior roles as Commercial and Buying Manager and Product Manager at a prominent fruit export company. In these positions, she strengthened procurement strategies, conducted in-depth market analysis, and upheld rigorous quality control standards, contributing significantly to the company’s success in the global export market.
Before transitioning to the private sector, Ms Malashe served in several key roles at the Perishable Products Export Control Board (PPECB), including Regional Operations Manager, Service Manager, Chief Inspector, and Quality Inspector. These positions provided her with comprehensive insight into export regulations, international quality standards, and inspection protocols, shaping her meticulous approach to compliance and product excellence.
